Meeting Minutes

Membership
A brief update was provided by Lee about the meeting he had with the FSA.
In the meeting a discussion was had regarding prices for membership.
Lee submitted to the committee to think about the current price which we have set and whether we should have a lower price due to being a family-orientated supporters club with possible multiple members, and the current financial climate.  This was left for the committee to think about and vote upon at the next meeting.  Facebook to start postings on Monday.
We will be running coach trips but members will receive priority booking before it is opened up to non-members.

Fundraising
Harry provided an update on how the event ticket sales were going – very well.
Suggested members of the committee who are in attendance arrive between 6pm and 7:30pm prior to the event starting so that they can assist with raffle ticket sales.
The club are providing a prize of 2 adult and 2 child tickets – (Family ticket) for a match this season. Fat Franks is providing 2 £10 vouchers.

Admin
We discussed the trips to Manchester and Blackburn and what was left to be finalized.
We agreed that we needed to put the costs/and income into electronic format.
We discussed the possibility of football cards and that we should apply for the lottery licence.
Lee would apply for this and submit a receipt for being reimbursed once funds were in the account.  We now have a bank account setup with a balance of £0.
After events we will arrange a transfer of funds from the primary arranging the event so incoming and outgoing are summarized.
The club suggested they may be able to offer a ‘bring a friend’ to a designated match to members and a ‘behind the scenes’ look around.
Membership cards are to be finalized.

A.O.B
Discussed the Away commentary that we have mentioned in previous meetings as we would not be able to lock it down to members only with a login due to John working for Durham hospital as volunteer and they way they broadcast.  It was discussed that by having available same as home games that it would hopefully attract more members and an option to donate to the Supporters Club would still be available on the website.
We need to find out how many other teams in the division broadcast or have the facility to and whether their broadcast could be available to us – either free or at a cost.
Lee to discuss with John to see if he has knowledge of this.  Whilst it would be good to have our own commentator at the games, this may not always be possible dur to other commitments than football so options would be good to know.
We discussed sizes and designs for flags – a combination of blue and white was the overall decision.  Lee is to put together a spreadsheet for the incoming and outgoing of money for the coach trips and event planned – any money from raffles etc will be made clear so forms can be returned to council.

Our next meeting Sunday 5th Mar 10am
Meeting closed 10:45am
